    This day will be dedicated to a guided tour of the capital of Sicily, Palermo. A cosmopolitan city, where they live in harmony a mosaic of cultures which make the town a mystical and exotic at the same time. Our tour begins in the center with a visit to the Palace of the Normans and its superb Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral of Palermo, the Quattro Canti. We will move then to Monreale, for a visit of the famous Benedictine Abbey, dating from the twelfth century, which houses beautiful mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testament, and the Cloister. In the afternoon journey south to the western corner of Sicily dominating the Mediterranean. Our first stop will be in Erice overlooking Marsala and Trapani Visit famous for the local Marsala and local wine. (B, L)
    Day 4TaorminaTAORMINA-MT. ETNA-WINE AND AGRITOURISM
    This Morning departure to Taormina. Enroute visit Mt. Etna that also includes a wine tasting session & lunch at "Agricola Gambino" in Linguaglossa & "Vini Patria" vineyards. From 6,000 feet you can enjoy the best views, as you drive through the fertile slopes and villages that sit on ancient volcanic eruptions. In the afternoon check in at your hotel in Taormina (B, L)
    Day 5TaorminaCOOKING CLASS
    Enjoy a private cooking class session starting at the local market in Taormina followed by lunch that will be the outcome of your Sicilian culinary experience. In the afternoon enjoy Taormina's charming city center that includes the Greek/Roman amphitheater, with its spectacular view of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. Tonight you may experience dinner on your own in one of the many restaurants of Taormina. (B, L)
    Day 6CataniaRAGUSA-CHOCOLATE MAKING
    Departure to Ragusa, known as the "white province" after the limestone, which dominates undisputed all over. The area is the named as the Sicilian Baroque District, proclaimed by UNESCO as part of the World Heritage. Ragusa area is located in the very south-east side of Sicily where the African flavor can be breathe deeply along with the architectural shapes, the vegetation - olive-groves, carobs, almond trees, vineyards and the red, yellow and ochre colors of the landscapes.

    Visit of the historical centre (Ibla), with it's Cathedral, situated in the beautiful square of the Dome. Continue to Modica where we visit the Church of San Giorgio and later, a demonstration and tasting of the traditional methods of making Modicano chocolate typical of this city. Return to Catania for overnight. (B,L)

    Morning guided visit of Catania with its most important monuments. In the afternoon continue to Zafferana Etnea to visit Beekeeping Farm. Visit includes: History of the Farm and tour of the honey laboratory. Honey Tasting including beehive products, derived and dry biscuits. Wine tasting - 3 different types of wine.
